Product Description: ELASTOSEAL-Roller/Brush is a ready to use fast setting, cold applied, modified asphalt emulsion system using exact formulated polymers providing unique elastomeric performance. It can be installed where solvents and heat are not allowed. Its formulation is designed for one-coat, seamless applications by roller or brush. Typical Applications: • Below grade, concrete or CMU exterior foundations • Primary and secondary containment tanks • Water fountains, ponds and water features • Waste water treatment tanks and reservoirs • “Sandwich slab” construction Advantages: • Zero VOC’s • No “hot pots” or trailers • Cost Efficient – reduced application times • One component, ready to use • 1200% Elongation • Self-healing • Monolithic without seams • Resistant to many chemicals (contact Aquafin for complete listing) Substrate Preparation: • Substrates must be free of all dirt, dust, grease, oil, sealers, curing compounds, form release agents, laitance and loose toppings. • Only proceed with application when the temperatures remain between 40°F and 90°F (4°C and 32°C) and protect from freezing for 24 hours after application. • All surfaces to be coated should be dry (damp is acceptable with no standing water). Hot surfaces should be cooled and shaded while cold surfaces should be heated and sheltered. • For proper adhesion, concrete substrates must have a minimum CSP−3 Concrete Surface Profile as per ICRI Guideline No. 310.2-1997 (Formerly Guideline No. 03732). • All loose particles and/or flaking coatings must be removed by sandblasting, water-blasting or other mechanical means. • All detail work and tape application must be completed before application of membrane can be started. All data are averages of several tests under laboratory conditions. In practice climatic variations such as temperature, humidity, and porosity of substrate may affect these values.
Packaging & Coverage Rate: Available in 5 gal pails. 5 gal pail yields approx. 125 ft2 @ 60 mils. DFT
mixing paddle. Mix at slow speeds (not exceeding 500 rpm) to prevent entraining air for a minimum 15 minutes for a 5 gallon pail, and 5 minutes for a 1 gallon can. Application: Read all instructions thoroughly prior to installation. • Ensure substrate and ambient temperatures are between 40°F and 95°F (4°C and 35°C) before application. Do not apply if freezing temperatures are expected within 24 hours. ELASTOSEAL-Roller/Brush can be applied using a min. 3/4“ nap paint roller or industrial paint brush. Apply by roller or brush at a rate of 50 ft2 per gallon (30 mils). Apply in two coats to achieve 60 mils total thickness. To apply using an appropriate spray pump consult with Aquafin Technical Department. Coverage: ~25 ft2/gal @ 60 mils DFT Curing: ELASTOSEAL-Roller/Brush will begin curing immediately upon application. Full cure occurs within 72 hours at 70°F (21°C) with a relative humidity of 50%. Humidity can significantly impact cure times. Page 1 of 2

ELASTOSEAL-ROLLER/BRUSH Limitations: • Do not bridge moving cracks or joints larger than 1/16”. Use “tape and seal” method. • Do not add admixtures or extend with aggregate. • Protect from freezing for 24 hours after application. If product freezes before full cure it may become necessary to recoat if cracking occurs within the membrane. Clean-up: Promptly wash hands with baby oil. Clean tools and equipment with Mineral Spirits before material dries. Cured material must be removed mechanically. Packaging: ELASTOSEAL-Roller/Brush is available in 5 gallon pails Shelf Life: 12 months in unopened, original packaging. Note: Proper application is the responsibility of the user. Field visits by AQUAFIN personnel are for the purpose of making technical recommendations and not for supervising or providing quality control on-site. Safety: Refer to SDS. For commercial use only. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear rubber gloves and safety goggles during mixing and application. After contact with skin, wash with plenty of water. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. LIMITED WARRANTY: AQUAFIN, INC. warrants this product for a period of one year from the date of installation to be manufactured free of defects and to be consistent with its technical properties as stated in our current Technical Data Sheet. This product must be used as directed and within its stated shelf life. AQUAFIN INC. will replace or at our discretion refund the purchase price of any product, excluding cost of labor, which is proven to be defective. Our product recommendations are based on industry standards and testing procedures. It is the buyer’s obligation to test the suitability of the product for an intended use prior to using it.
