Pavemend SET RETARDANT General Charateristics: The Pavemend SET RETARDANT is designed for use with the Pavemend DOTLine and Pavemend SL concrete repair products to extended working times. It is added directly to the mix water, and mixed with the product. The working time extension will vary for each repair product type, and is also affected by ambient temperatures, mix water temperatures, host concrete temperatures and product material temperatures. Typical Applications: Pavemend SET RETARDANT can be used anytime additional working time is desired to facilitate material placement. In warmer temperatures, use SET RETARDANT to offset shorter working times. Mixing & Performance Instructions: 1. Add SET RETARDANT to measured mix water at the doseage below and mix thoroughly before. Introduce mix water to material per respective mix instructions. 2. Use no more than 120 gram packet of SET RETARDANT per 2 units of material to increase working time by up to 10 mins. Use one 120 gram packet of SET RETARDANT per 4 units of material for up to 5 minutes additional working time. Contact Technical Services for specific placement requirements which exceed the max loading of 1 packet per 2 units. 3. Time to return repairs to service will be slightly extended when using SET RETARDANT. Packaging & Shelf Life: • Packaging 2 gallon bucket containing 50 x 120 gram packets GSA P/N: C050 • Shelf Life: 2 years • Storage: Keep in dry environment

AQUAFIN INC. will replace or at our discretion refund the purchase price of any product, excluding cost of labor, which is proven to be defective. Our product recommendations are based on industry standards and testing procedures. It is the buyer’s obligation to test the suitability of the product for an intended use prior to using it. We assume no warranties written, expressed or implied as to any specific methods of application or use of the product. AQUAFIN INC.
